To apply to be an Accredited Training Course Provider, applicants must complete the application form and submit it with evidence of payment of the required registration fee and sample course material which will be assessed by subject area experts.
The registration fee includes registration of the first five courses in the first year of Accreditation.
After the first five courses in the first year of Accreditation, and for each course thereafter, there is a per-instance registration fee.
For the second and subsequent years of accreditation, the annual fee will include registration of the first seven courses in that year.
The registration year runs from 1 July to 30 June.
The per course registration fee applies for each occasion upon which the course is run.
The per course registration fee applies when the provider completes the registration process. There is no credit period. The fee is not cancelled or waived if the course is cancelled. However, if the course is postponed to another date, the new date may be substituted in the registration at no additional charge.
Where registration takes place in one registration year but the course is scheduled for the following registration year, the annual registration fee must be paid BEFORE the course is registered.
NOTE: The Accreditation Process will take approximately eight weeks from receipt by the Society of the Application and supporting documentation. Therefore companies seeking accreditation must ensure that there is AT LEAST eight weeks available before the Course is run.
No reference to Accreditation or the application for accreditation may be made in any marketing material or other communication, written, electronic or oral, prior to notification.
No reference to Accreditation or the proposed registration of a course may be made in any marketing material or other communication, written, electronic or oral, prior to the completion of registration for the individual course and payment of the prescribed fee.
For each course, including self-registered courses, delegate assessment in the form required by the Society shall be completed and submitted to the Society.
Accredited Training Providers are required to make available to the Society on demand a place, free of all charges, at any registered course.
Members of the Society are required to complete a set number of hours CPD per annum. Courses should be timed in units of quarter of an hour from commencement of tuition to the end excluding post-training Q&A after the session has formally ended, excluding mid morning, mid afternoon and lunch breaks. The Provider is responsible for setting the hours which will be credited to the delegates’ learning account.
